This is one of my minor complaints about some Bible translations, the way they chop up Paul's writings into multiple sentences. I remember disagreeing with someone in a Sunday School class in my old church. He, using the NIV, thought 2 different verses were different thoughts. I, using the NASB, argued "but they're in the same sentence!"
